 Martha is a retired Iredell County language teacher. Martha wrote Be Encouraged, a women's devotional/Bible study to encourage women that through God's intervention, they can overcome obstacles in their lives. Speaking of her calling to Christ, she has said, “I gave my heart to the Lord when I was 13. I love Him and have continued to grow spiritually as I have ministered in my church, spent time in the Word of God and prayer, and been a part of 16 mission trips.”
